Intense video shows the moment officers find an illegal gun and take down the person they say was in possession of it in Washington Heights. Police say they found the gun while in a tunnel near the 191st Street station after spotting a person trespassing on the subway tracks. Authorities found the man farther within the station. After a chase, police arrested him. The NYPD posted on X saying it was quick thinking from their observant officers that helped get another illegal weapon off the streets.
