The 300 millionth person in the United States was born at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan Tuesday, according to hospital officials. Zoe Emille Hudson, whose family is from Orange County, was born at 7:46 a.m. That is the same time the U.S. Census Bureau estimated the population milestone. Zoe's mom and dad live in Monroe and her grandparents are from Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. There is some debate as to whether Zoe is in fact the 300 millionth person in the country. Another New York hospital is claiming the 300 millionth person was born there. However, that doesn?t matter to Zoe?s mom who says her daughter will be the star in her family.
