Fast food icon Ronald McDonald may soon be forced into early retirement.
Corporate Accountability International, a group that hales from Boston, is calling for Ronald McDonald to step out of the spotlight as the fast food chain's biggest celebrity.
The organization says the character promotes an unhealthy diet and encourages childhood obesity.
However, not all Westchester residents agree. Some say the character lures children into the establishment. While others say the decision to eat at a McDonalds ultimately resides with the parent.
