A Connecticut man faces a criminal charge for allegedly approaching students in Peekskill.

City police say he tried to lure two teenagers into his car, and one of them briefly got in.

Officials say the incidents happened earlier this month on Howard Street.

Gennaro Trainello, from Danbury, allegedly convinced a 14-year-old to enter his vehicle with promises to pay her for work, but the teen got out of the car shortly afterward.

Police say he also approached another girl on her way to school and offered her money for a massage. She reported the incident at Peekskill High School.

Police say there could be additional victims.
