One art gallery in White Plains is trying to gain the affection of its patrons by displaying pictures of children that are up for adoption.
Dozens of children in need of a home stood up in a room full of strangers with a heartfelt plea to be adopted. The project, called the Heart Gallery, opened Tuesday at the Westchester Arts Council.
The Heart Gallery will stay in White Plains through November 5. The exhibit then heads to Rockland County on November 7, and onto Orange County on November 14th.
