The town of Crawford is the latest to declare a water emergency.

In a Facebook post, Crawford Town Supervisor Charles E. Carnes says emergency measures are being put into effect immediately for the Pine Bush Water District.
Carnes says “there shall be no watering of lawns nor filling of pools and other large commercial usage shall be prohibited. We also request all water district users conserve water wherever possible until conditions improve.”
