A young goat was rescued Thursday after its neck and head got stuck inside a livestock feeder in Southbury, police say.

Police say a resident called them and asked for help to free the animal, which was in distress after it got stuck.

Officers used bolt cutters to cut away enough metal to remove the feeder from the animal's head.
