(08/24/10) RAMAPO - Ramapo officials are looking to build a new, 3,500-seat stadium on Route 45.
The land on which the stadium would be placed is already being cleared, but town residents need to vote "yes" to a $16 million guarantee in bonds before any construction can begin.
The city of Yonkers is also looking to build a minor league ballpark for its downtown, but that project has been delayed by the economy.
Ramapo residents have until 10 p.m. tonight to cast their vote.
