It’s a world built out of imagination and a whole lot of LEGO bricks.
"I think what's so great is [that] kids and families can come [and] spend a couple of hours. It's all indoors so we're open year-round,” Abhiruchi Jain, cluster marketing manager for LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester.
From the 4D cinema to LEGO-themed rides and an entire miniature city built brick by brick, there’s no shortage of fun.
Every LEGO creative seen in the space has been built by hand, and more times than not it comes from Master Model Builder Julian Sarno’s imagination.
"I get to make a lot of really cool ones like this big flower, but it's not always just display models,” explained Sarno. “We get to make a lot of really cool fun models as well, like this giant red Lego brick. On the outside, it looks like just a big Lego piece, but it also has a cool function. When we tip it over, it can come back together.”
