The usual Rockland Fourth of July traffic jams and fireworks displays will come with heightened security after two car bombs were found in London.

Police in London defused a bomb that could have killed hundreds after an ambulance crew spotted smoke coming from a Mercedes. Investigators say the car was filled with a lethal mix of gasoline, propane and nails. Hours later, British police confirmed that a second car bomb was found in another Mercedes in the center of the city. That too was defused. Authorities are uncertain if the bombs are terror-related.

Lt. Anthony Costa, of the Rockland Sheriff?s Department, says there is no credible threat to the area. However, Costa says officers will be vigilant in looking out for suspicious activities or packages.
