Rockland County Executive Ed Day is calling on the state to address the pothole-ridden roads across the county.
The state announced an $18.4 million pavement project on Interstate 87 in Rockland County.
Day says in the letter that the local state roadways in the county and the lower Hudson Valley are in incredibly poor condition and riddled with potholes.
Residents are encouraged to report the potholes to the Department of Transportation hotline at 1-800-768-4653.
