A Scarsdale High School junior has been baking treats for all 120 firehouses throughout Westchester County.
On Friday, Lindsey Lindman delivered a batch to her last stop in Tarrytown.
"I thought that giving baked goods to firehouses, which baking is something that I've always liked to do, would be a good idea just to help others and even before the pandemic, they were always heroes and always helping others," says Lindman.
Lindman came up with the idea last spring to give back and thank firefighters caring for people in their most vulnerable moments.
