Police in Spring Valley are urging burglary victims to come forward after they recovered $10,000 worth of stolen items this week.
Officials say hundreds of items, from landscaping equipment to power tools, were found by police inside a trailer. They believe the goods were taken during recent burglaries at landscaping companies and homes in the village.
Authorities say victims need to come forward and claim the property so that they are able to make an arrest.
Spring Valley has seen more than 30 burglaries in the past few months, with Ramapo and Clarkstown seeing similar trends.
