Prospective students will see something new at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill.
The university celebrated the grand opening of a new admissions hall. The one before was old, outdated and in the basement of another building.
President Kenneth Daly says he put a new admissions center at the top of his to-do list when he entered his position.
"You always want to make a great first impression; these students are making a very important decision. We think STAC is the right choice for them,” Daly says. “We want to make sure we put forward that impression— more importantly, students need a go-to place to talk to an admissions counselor. They can learn about the financial aid that’s available to them, have a conversation with recruits and learn more about the college."
Thursday also marked Daly's one-year anniversary since becoming president of the college.
