The first trailer for West Side Story was unveiled Sunday night during the Academy Award presentation.

Steven Spielberg's remake of the 1961 classic stars Ansel Elgort as Tony and Rachel Zegler as Maria.

It's Spielberg's first time directing a musical.

In the trailer, Rita Moreno can be heard singing. The New York native won an Oscar for her role as Anita in the original film and will appear in this version as well.

The film is due out Dec. 10.
