News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Julian Seawright says the Hudson Valley could see storms under cloudy skies for Saturday.
NOW: Storms break overnight. Localized flooding is possible with the heavy downpours.
NEXT: More storms for Saturday and Sunday as temperatures reach the 80s.
FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Humid with warm temperatures near 70 degrees and upper-60s.
SATURDAY -- WEATHER TO WATCH: Another round of storms is likely under mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon and evening hours. High temperatures in the low-80s. Low temperatures in the upper-60s.
SUNDAY -- WEATHER TO WATCH: Similar to Saturday. Mostly cloudy with possible afternoon and evening thunderstorms. High temperatures will be near 80 degrees. Low temperatures in the upper-60s.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms. High temperatures will be near 80 degrees. Low temperatures in the mid-60s.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny and near seasonable. High temperatures in the upper-70s. Low temperatures in the middle 60s.
WEDNESDAY: Sun and clouds mixing with late day rain showers. High temperatures in the mid-70s. Low temperatures in the mid-60s.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy and pleasant with scattered showers. High temperatures in the low-70s. Low temperatures in the upper-50s.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy and pleasant with some sprinkles of rain. High temperatures in the low-70s. Low temperatures in the mid-50s.
