String of car break-ins prompts warning from police in New Windsor

New Windsor police are investigating several reports of car break-ins in the area of Squire Village and Plum Point early Monday morning.
Authorities say an attempt to break into a third vehicle was also made.

No arrests have been made.
Authorities say two cars had clothing items and loose change stolen.
Authorities are issuing a reminder to residents to lock vehicles and avoid leaving personal items inside as a result.
