As voters prepare to head to the polls for tomorrow's budget vote, students held a rally today at Ramapo High School to show support for an assistant superintendent who is set to lose his job because of budget issues.
The students say that Assistant Superintendent Pedro Santana is a very approachable and trustworthy person, and is the sole minority within the school administration. They say he is sort of a father-figure to them.
Santana says that he will lose his job in June because of the budget issues.
The students at the rally say that they are trying to persuade other students who are old enough to vote to prevent further problems for future students.
