Certain drugs are dangerously addictive, but it turns out same can be said about some snacks.

A new study from the British Medical Journal found ultra processed foods like ice cream, chips and fries, may be as addictive as cigarettes or heroin.

The study says the combination of refined carbs and fats has a supra-additive effect on brain reward systems.

Researchers say 14% of adults and 12% of kids are addicted to ultra-processed foods.
