The Supreme Court ruled that sheltered workshops discriminate against people with disabilities, putting many disabled work programs in New York in jeopardy.

New York says it wants to phase out sheltered workshops and provide more integrated work settings for people with disabilities.

Sue Blanchard, the director of Venture Industries in Stony Point, says she does not think many of her employees are up to working integrated jobs in the community. Venture's workshops could be phased out within the next year.
