One suspect remains on the loose after two men were arrested Tuesday for allegedly leading police on a car chase through a New Rochelle neighborhood.
Police say the car chase began in Mount Vernon during a traffic stop. The alleged driver, 19-year-old Temel Clarke, rammed into a police cruiser and took off, leading police on a chase that stopped at a dead end in New Rochelle.
Clarke allegedly then drove through residents' backyards in the neighborhood, knocking over fences and bird feeders before crashing into a house's deck.
Clarke and Kevin Blake, both of Brooklyn, were arrested after they fled on foot.
