A pair of Hudson Valley's best hockey teams squared off at the Ice Hutch in Mount Vernon last night.
Pelham, riding a three-game winning streak, took on the combined team of Eastchester-Tuckahoe-Bronxville, who is off to a 4-0 start.
In the second period, Pelham senior forward Colin Reilly set up sophomore Andrew Schauer to tie the game at 2.
Later in the second, the Pelicans scored their fourth unanswered goal with Reilly finding the net and Pelham took a 5-2.
Pelham went on to win 8-5.
