Two Warwick teenagers were arrested for shooting a pellet gun at classmates.
Off-duty Police Sergeant Rich Paredes was in his house Tuesday when he witnessed two teens pointing a weapon at a girl after they all exited the school bus. He grabbed his gun and badge and ran outside and told the two to drop their weapon. After taking the two teens into custody, Paredes realized they only had a pellet gun.
The 15-year-old and 17-year-old were arrested and then released to their parents. Police say they shot the pellet gun at another student on the bus. They are suspended from school and could get more punishment after police finish their investigation.
