At least two people escaped serious injury after near-45 mph winds sent trees onto cars and are threatening to destroy unsecured outdoor displays.
A Toyota 4Runner was nearly crushed by a tree in Croton-On-Hudson, with both the driver and passenger just inches away from being seriously hurt.
Business owners in downtown Tarrytown say that they are still assembling their outdoor displays today, but they will be keeping a closer eye on things as the winds start to pick up.
