Vets react to Obama’s plan to send more troops to Iraq

Local veterans react to President Obama's announcement that 1,500 additional U.S. troops will be heading to Iraq by the end of the year.
The troops are being sent to advise and retrain Iraqis in their battle against the terror group ISIS.
Lieutenant Colonel Glenn Sadowski is currently in the Marine Corps Reserves. He's been deployed overseas many times, and says when the president speaks the troops listen.
At the Church of the Annunciation in Yonkers, veterans work side by side with Boy and Girl Scouts, and other volunteers as they stuff care packages to send to U.S. troops.
Each package filled with snacks, toiletries, socks and hand-written cards is meant to be a thoughtful reminder they are appreciated by people back home.
