Police have identified the victim of a homicide investigation where human remains were discovered in a Bronx apartment.
The victim is 46-year-old Lutalo Henderson. His place of residence is 903 Rogers Pl., where his body parts were discovered in the kitchen. A firearm and drug paraphernalia were also found at the scene.
The NYPD previously had a person of interest in custody but that person was released on Aug. 8.
This homicide investigation has been linked to a charred body that was discovered in Yonkers earlier this month.
