William Wagstaff, an attorney and civil rights advocate, fell short Tuesday of securing the Democratic primary in the race for Westchester County district attorney.
Susan Cacace handily won the race.
Wagstaff was aiming to succeed outgoing District Attorney Mimi Rocah, who opted not to seek reelection.
