Water has been restored to Middletown residents after crews completed emergency repairs on a water main break.

Water could be seen spraying out of the ground from the 20-inch break at Leonardville and East roads.

The break at around 4 p.m. Tuesday left dozens of homes and businesses in the area without water.

New Jersey American Water said the roads remain closed as crews finish up the work.
