Westchester County officials on Tuesday announced new inspections for children’s camps with summer coming soon.
Health department officials say they will examine 235 camps.
Those campuses inspected must adhere to the state and county's health and sanitary codes. Parents are also encouraged to provide accurate emergency contacts numbers, medical history and immunization records.
County officials added sunscreen should be a staple as well as daily checks for ticks.
