A local real estate broker is urging people to act fast as the market flourishes.
Rye-based real estate broker Chelsea Georgio tells News 12 she’s currently closing on $30 million in sales.
The young broker specializes in selling high-end homes along the Sound Shore.
According to Georgio, many of her clients are leaving the Big Apple for the leafy suburbs of Westchester due to the pandemic.
"In all of Westchester, I would say pending sales are up 76% for single-family and in Sound Shore up over 102% pending,” says Georgio.
Some key advice she offered was to not wait on buying a home. “Don't fear the fact that you might be getting into a competitive bidding war,” says Georgio. “Our prices after the past three years have come down significantly."
