A little bit of Oz landed in Yonkers this weekend as the Cross County Center transformed into a Halloween wonderland — complete with candy, costumes and a dash of Broadway magic.

The mall’s annual Spooktacular Festival featured bounce houses, trick-or-treating and two local actresses bringing "Wicked" to life on stage.

Sunnie Sellers and Brittyn Bonham, playing Elphaba and Glinda, dazzled the crowd with songs, dance lessons and lessons in confidence.

“It takes a lot of kindness,” Sellers said before belting out “Defying Gravity” to cheers from a costume-clad audience.

From the Good Witch’s sparkle to the Wicked Witch’s green glow, kids learned that good and evil aren’t always what they seem — and that real magic comes from being yourself. For Yonkers families, this Halloween was less about scares, and more about soaring fun at the Spooktacular.
