353ds agoThe widow of fallen FDNY firefighter and Long Beach native Casey Skudin has filed a lawsuit against Biltmore Estate where the couple was vacationing with their kids.
Skudin was killed in June by a falling tree in North Carolina. The couple's two sons were also injured.
The lawsuit alleges that the Biltmore "knowingly and intentionally kept a massive, rotted tree on its property next to a main road where it knew it would cause great harm when it fell."
The lawsuit seeks compensatory and punitive damages.
