Pet owners looking for a getaway for their four-legged companions now have a new option in Connecticut.
Wiggles Pet Resort offers a "mini vacation" experience for dogs of all ages.
Inside the $5 million facility, pups are greeted with personalized attention and a menu of pampering options, including grooming.
"Each suite come with a raised cot and fleece to sleep on," said co-owner Laura Laaman. "Some have access to their own play area right from their suite."
The resort offers everything from supervised playtime to nap time, and even pup facials. Staff say the blueberry facial is designed to brighten a dog's face by removing yellow tones around the eyes and muzzle.
Between activities, dogs can enjoy snack breaks featuring what the resort calls its "luxury treats."
Wiggles also included indoor and outdoor play yards lined with canine grass, a turf designed specifically for dogs.
For its youngest guests, there's a dedicated puppy nursery outfitted with couches for cuddling and TVs playing "Animal Planet" and "Dog TV."
The resort emphasizes both comfort and safety for pets while their owners are away, aiming to provide a trustworthy and enriching environment, 24/7, year-round.
