yesterdayThe Yonkers Police Department is sending a strict message to drivers in the area about license plate and registration violations.
On Friday, Yonkers and Westchester County police executed a vehicle detail, targeting license plate and registration violations, as well as equipment and moving violations.
Forty-two vehicles were impounded and over two dozen summonses were issued.
Two individuals were also arrested for heroin and cocaine possession after a vehicle search.
