Yonkers PD impounds unregistered mopeds, motorcycles as part of ‘fall cleanup’

The Yonkers Police Department’s ongoing roadway cleanup program that began last summer has extended into the fall. It targets vehicles that are unregistered – from mopeds to motorcycles.

The Yonkers Police Department’s ongoing roadway cleanup program that began last summer has extended into the fall. It targets vehicles that are unregistered – from mopeds to motorcycles.
According to a Yonkers PD facebook post,
“In just an 8-hour period, we impounded 30 of these vehicles. In the past four weeks, the Yonkers Police Department has impounded over 100 mopeds, scooters, dirtbikes, and motorcycles, in our ongoing commitment to keeping our roadways safe.”
