Two people were killed and a baby was injured in a three-car crash on Route 17 in Chester Monday.According to police, a SUV veered across the median and struck a white Chevy, which was then hit by a pick-up truck. The man and woman in the Chevy were killed and their 10-month-old was taken to Westchester County Medical Center.The man driving the SUV and his two passengers were taken to the Orange Regional Medical Center. There is no word on their conditions. The man driving the pick-up truck was said to have minor injuries. The crash created a traffic nightmare on the eastbound side of Route 17 near Exit 127 in Chester. Police do not know what caused the driver of the SUV to lose control. The accident in under investigation.
