A Putnam County doctor accused of sexually assaulting a woman while she was under is set to face a judge today.
Dr. Paul Giacopelli is scheduled to appear in Southeast Town Court in Brewster at 1 p.m.
A woman told sheriff deputies she was unknowingly put under by the anesthesiologist. She says it happened multiple times, and he sexually assaulted her in December.
He's charged with four counts of sexual abuse and four counts of assault.
He worked at Northwell Health.
