More than 35,000 residents of the Hudson Valley took part in Applefest this weekend celebrating the first weekend of October.
It was the festival's 23rd year, and each year the collection of local food vendors grow as well as the variety of apple products.
Among the many foods being handmade and sold this weekend were apple fritters, which are cooked and rolled in cinnamon, candied apples, applesauce, apple butter and apple donuts.
