An arrest has been made in an alleged domestic violence-related arson that left an Orange County woman's home and car badly damaged.
Police took Nicholas Fontaine, 22, into custody late Wednesday night.
A source close to the investigation tells News 12 Fontaine is the victim's ex-boyfriend.
He allegedly used accelerant in a gas can to start the fire on Jupiter Drive in Monroe while she was sleeping inside with her parents.
The victim's car was charred and the side of her home was burned.
Fontaine faces charges of arson and criminal contempt in the first degree.
