Assistant principal removed from Harrison school following stolen medication investigation

News 12 has confirmed that Scott Spector, the assistant principal at Louis M. Klein Middle School no longer has access to the district's schools.
The announcement left parents in shock, although they declined to talk about the situation on camera.
Spector had been with the school for nine years.
His name has been removed from the district's website.

According to Harrison School District Superintendent Louis Wool, the investigation began when medication vials stored in a lockbox, located in the nurse's office, were missing doses.
The district, alongside the Harrison Police Department, was able to identify the person involved.
The medication is for students, but the officials did not indicate what the prescriptions were for.
Superintendent Wool confirmed no students were involved in the incident.
News 12 contacted the Harrison Police Department but has not heard back.
