A Beacon man is now facing charges for reportedly selling narcotics after an initial arrest in August 2022, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
Stefon Graham, 33, was originally arrested last year for narcotics sales. In June, he pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a controlled substance and entered a state judicial diversion program as an alternative to the standard court process.
However, it is alleged that Graham resumed unknowingly selling narcotics to the county drug force while in the program.
As a result, Graham received a six-count indictment and is now charged with sales of narcotics. He was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail on Monday.
If convicted, Graham could face up to nine years in state prison for criminal possession of a controlled substance and an additional nine years for each sale of narcotics charge outlined in the indictment.
