All lanes of Route 9A northbound in Briarcliff Manor are closed after a tractor-trailer struck the Pleasantville Road overpass around 8:30 a.m.
The trailer suffered extensive damage, with the top ripped off and its side buckled.
It is unknown if the bridge sustained any damage.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.
