In the race for the 96th state Assembly District seat, Democrat Roxanne Donnery is looking to defeat 10-term incumbent Nancy Calhoun (R-Washingtonville).
Calhoun, who cast her vote today at Blooming Grove Town Hall, met with voters after and said she feels optimistic that the people will send her back to the Assembly to serve an 11th term.
Her Democratic opponent, Donnery, said after casting her vote that she's ready to bring change to Albany and she hopes that her message resonates with voters.
