Police the crash happened on 9W in Stony Point near the Fireside restaurant.
Route 9W and Tompkins Avenue to Route 9W and Wayne Avenue will remain closed - possibly until Wednesday.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital for a health-related issue. It is unknown if that caused the crash.
