With less than a day to go, candidates for the 19th Congressional District are hitting the streets trying to garner last-minute support yesterday.
Rep. John Hall (D-N.Y.), who has represented the district for the past two terms, was attempting to court voters at a northern Westchester supermarket.
His challenger, Republican Nan Hayworth, continued to criticize Hall?s voting record, especially in regard to the health care reform legislation which he voted for.
Hayworth also has been trying to tie Hall to polarizing figures such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
The race is expected to be very close with polling showing the race almost even.
