Connecticut man ejected from car in Route 80 crash in New Jersey

State police say Miguel Cardenas lost control, ran off the roadway and hit a concrete barrier.

A man from Norwalk, Connecticut, was ejected from his car and seriously injured during a car crash on Route 80 east in Mount Arlington, according to New Jersey State Police.
It happened around 1 a.m. State police say the driver, 40-year-old Miguel Cardenas, lost control and ran off the roadway before hitting a concrete barrier.
They say Cardenas then reentered the lanes, ran off the road again, hit a guardrail, overturned and struck a tree.
During the collision, police say Cardenas was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to a hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
