Five people are under arrest Thursday after police say they were caught breaking into a Chestnut Ridge home for the second time.
Ramapo police say they got word that the perpetrators who stole computers, Xbox games, DVDs and jewelry from a home on Brookview Boulevard earlier in the week might come back for more. Wednesday night investigators set up a stake out in the house and in the neighborhood. Police say three suspects were caught in the act breaking into the home. Two others, who police say were driving the get-a-way vehicle, were located by patrol and they were apprehended.
The suspects range in age from 17 to 23, four of them are from New Jersey and one is from Nanuet.
