6ds agoA Rockland resident went the extra mile to help out wildlife earlier this week.
Dash cam video captured shows Yitzy Oster, of Monsey, following a snapping turtle as it crossed Union Road in Spring Valley on Tuesday.
The good Samaritan was on his way home from work at West Maple Farm when he sprang into action to make sure the turtle got to the other side safely because of how busy the road was.
The video has been circulating on local Facebook groups with tons of people commending him for his actions.
