New information shows the man struck by a vehicle on a Westchester highway is now facing multiple felony charges.

State police say the incident began Tuesday on I‑684 in Bedford, where John Kijek of Bedford Hills was in a car with a woman. According to investigators, a domestic dispute occurred and the woman got out of the vehicle.

When troopers arrived, police say Kijek ran across the highway and was struck by a passing car. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities say he was later arrested and is now facing multiple felony charges.
