Eastchester police arrest 3 accused scammers

The person who was allegedly scammed told police, as they left Stop & Shop, people came after them in the parking lot, saying they owed the victim money.

Eastchester police announced the arrest of three people accused of scamming an older person.
That person told police, as they left Stop & Shop, people came after them in the parking lot, saying they owed the victim money.
They pretended to give it and allegedly stole the victim's ATM card from their wallet in the process.
Police say an investigation showed two women and a man waited in line and watched the victim enter their debit card pin at check out.
Police found the suspect's car and officers say they found multiple stolen cards inside from other victims.
Police say three three arrested all have last addresses in Romania.
They are Laura Bengoi, Loredana Iftima and Robert Turcanu.
They've been released until their next court dates.
